"Destination I Do" Model Shoot

Yesterday I had the opportunity to shoot another model shoot for a fabulous national bridal magazine - "Destination I Do." They have used two of my photos for different covers and I just love working with Jennifer & Carolyn--the Publisher and Owner who are both friends of mine.

This shoot was at Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale--a historic hotel that has recently been renovated. It has a unique retro style and I can't wait to shoot some weddings there. If you're looking to get married definitely check it out.

Here are a few of my favorite photos from the shoot:

PUG

I have the honor of being able to lead a local network of photographers who use Pictage -- my awesome online lab and business service provider. Pictage is like having another employee--they handle so much for me and it frees me up to do what I love - shoot and work with people. Anyhow, our group that meets here in Phoenix monthly is called a "PUG" - Pictage User Group. We meet on a monthly basis and network, get to know one another and learn from each other. It's amazing what a community is forming among us. And it's so great for me to have a group of photographers to call on if I ever need anything as well as to refer weddings to if I'm already booked. They are amazing and I learn so much from them. We just had a meeting last night and took this group shot.

I'm so blessed by each of you!

Rashanna & Joel

I just got done shooting a beautiful wedding at Copperwynd Resort and Club in Fountain Hills. Rashanna and Joel were really fun to work with and I enjoyed working with Victoria Canada--an amazing wedding consultant--for the 2nd time. Click here to view the slideshow.

WPPI - Las Vegas

I just got back from WPPI - an annual national photography conference in Las Vegas - and decided that it is time for me to start a blog. So I'm excited but also think it's a little crazy--who has time to keep one of these up? :) But I'll give it my best.

WPPI was amazing--I learned so much and was so inspired by other photographers. Here's a couple pics of some of my friends I hung out with:

Ya, we're all a bunch of nerds :)
