Pictage Partner Conference

Today has been great. I love hanging out with photographers--what a fun bunch of people. We had some fun with the fish eye in the morning session. Here's a shot of Stuart Thurlkill, me and my new friend Mark who wins the award for facial hair:


A weird cartoon-distortion phenomenon happens when you take a photo of someone with the fish eye lens only inches from their face. Let me demonstrate:

No distortion there--just pure cute-ness.

You might think from seeing these photos that all we do is get together in LA and goof off for a few days and call it a "conference" but we like to call it "networking" and we do listen to speakers and sometimes take notes. One more day to go...I'll try to retain something productive to share with you tomorrow :).
