Grant to Phoenix Firefighters

Today I covered a short check receiving ceremony where the Phoenix Fire Department was given a grant. It's not something I usually do but I enjoy covering any type of event where I am just free to be creative and shoot what is happening. Here's a few images.






We were setting up for a group shot at the end and everyone thought it would be great to have two ambulances in the back. But then they noticed they were a little dirty so all the firefighters started washing them. It was a fun scene that reminded me of fund-raising car washes I've been a part of in the past:




Short and sweet. I didn't know what to do with myself after shooting for just under 2 hours :).
