Relaxing in San Diego

I'm out in San Diego for a few days. Tonight and tomorrow I have a photo seminar that I'm excited about. But I came out a bit early to hang out with my friends David & Becky. After I got my tickets I found out that they were going to be in Phoenix for the weekend so I ended up staying in their downtown condo and just relaxing for the past couple days. It's been great. I've been getting some reading done and yesterday I took a walk to the bay and shot a few photos. It was such a gorgeous day out. I really enjoyed being out and about. It was a great day for flying kites too. I saw some kids doing just that and got this fun shot:


Then I grabbed a late lunch at this place, looked out at the boats and did some more reading.


This seagull kept an eye on me from behind glass my entire meal. I'm not sure what he was thinking because even if I wanted to, I couldn't feed him anything. I don't think he got the concept of glass.


If only every day could be this relaxing... :)
